Do you need a will?
Married Couples - Most people assume thier husband or wife will automatically inherit all of their possessions. Without a valid will this is not always the case.
Unmarried and same sex couples - Even though they may have been living together for many years unmarried couples estates will not automatically go to each other. There is no such thing as 'common law' spouse/partner.
Couples with children - Without legally appointed guardians, the courts decide who brings up the children.
Previously married couples, separated couples and single people will almost certainly also need a will.
